British citizens can easily visit New Zealand for tourism or business-purpose with The New Zealand eTA (Electronic Travel Authority) designed for nationals from visa-waiver countries. New Zealand is the best tourist spot and weekend activity schedule is sure to be action-packed and more thrilling. Raglan is one of the top spots, New Zealand’s number one surfing spot, which boasts one of the world’s best left-hand breaks; Mount Maunganui, a popular east coast beach home to many sporting and music events; Taupo as a great place to bungee jump, jet boat and skydive; and the Whakapapa and Turoa ski fields, for skiing. Even New Zealand has got a high ranking for its national performance as the quality of life, health, education, protection of civil liberties and environmental awareness among citizens.
New Zealand requires the International visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy as a small payment which is used to protect the natural environment and also gives contribution in developing the infrastructure of New Zealand.
Brits don’t need a visa for traveling to New Zealand for short term trips up to 6 months but a New Zealand eTA from the United Kingdom is a mandatory requirement for all citizens of the UK since Oct 1st, 2019. The eTA for the UK is valid for only 2 years or the expiry date, whichever comes first.
As approved, the eTA remains electronically linked to the traveler’s passport eliminates the need to receive a passport stamp from border control officials upon arrival.
Cruise passengers require obtaining a valid New Zealand eTA just like British travelers arriving to New Zealand by air. However, crew members must apply for a particular eTA, separate from that of tourists. These workers should contact their employer for assistance.
Brits who are planning on only transiting through Auckland International Airport on their way to a final destination outside of New Zealand should also obtain a valid NZeTA.
Brits traveling to New Zealand with their family must provide each member’s passport details in the application form for the New Zealand eTA. Those who are traveling with other relatives must apply the eTA application form individually for each member.
The citizens of the UK can easily obtain and apply an online New Zealand eTA application form using their Smartphone, personal computer or tablet within 10 mins. To avoid inaccuracy and any delays while applying the application form, these following details are required to keep along with yourself:
